How Inclusion in Classroom and Society?

Dear Sirs and Madam, I hope you all are always happy. Come on, let's discuss it. What is inclusion? 

So, inclusion is the integration of children who have special limitations or abnormalities into school programs in a realistic and comprehensive way in the world of education. 

How Inclusion in Classroom and Society?

In other words, inclusion can also be interpreted as a collection of children who have certain disorders, because it is not like children in general.

What is inclusion definition?

It turns out that inclusion children have categorization, not only children with physical disabilities who can be classified as persons with inclusion. 

So, which can be categorized as inclusion, namely children who have difficulty in learning, such as having language problems, memories, attention problems and activities, and problems regarding memory. 

In addition, those who can be categorized as inclusion are those who have mental disorders, behavioral abnormalities, physical disorders, hearing disorders, visual impairments, and children who have barriers in speaking or speaking. 

Therefore, inclusion children must be sent to schools that use inclusive education services.

What is meant by inclusive education?

So, inclusive education is education which requires that all children who have an abnormality be served at the nearest school in regular classes with friends of their age. 

Here, children with special needs can get a decent education, besides, they also get an education in accordance with their limitations. In addition, they can get along with their peers.

Can we call children who are inclusion as strange people?

Not! Inclusive children are just like us, even they have a privilege that is not shared by people in general. It is not uncommon for many inclusion children to be able to reach a myriad of achievements. 

Usually, children with special needs are considered as children who are strange, helpless, and unable. They tend to be underestimated and underestimated. In fact, when they are guided and nurtured, they can compete with normal children in general. 

Actually, these children have tremendous potential that is buried. It's just that sometimes the potential has not been developed, because of the lack of understanding from parents, so that the child is not in school or given an education. 

Besides that, in the world of work it is also not ready to accept children with special needs, because they are considered incompetent and do not have qualified skills so that in the world of work, children with special needs are still considered that they can only be troublesome.

Can children with special needs excel?

Children with special needs can also perform like people in general. Let's take an example from the figure of Wahyu Setiawan. 

Since he was 4 years old, he had to lose his eyesight. But this young man did not despair, he did not remain silent. He was able to prove that his limitations did not become a barrier for him to realize the dreams he had wanted to achieve. 

And proven, he can make it happen. He won 1st place at the national level Paralympic race, won the national 100 meters and 200-meter run, and represented Indonesia at the 2015 Para games in Singapore, and won 1st and 2nd place in the Asia Pacific team chess competition.

What should be done so that persons with inclusion can be accepted in society?

Indeed, until now the community still views negatively children with special needs. Therefore, there must be an effort so that persons with inclusion can be accepted in society. 

The way is, parents of children with special needs must tell about the nature and character of the child to the surrounding community so that they know and can understand the condition. 

Then, parents must understand the needs of the child, so that children can also learn to understand parents because the level of adaptability of children with special needs and the surrounding community is different. 

Inclusion in the classroom

Furthermore, parents need not be ashamed to send their children to school in public, because by doing so, the child can adjust to his environment, and be able to get along with his friends. 

Thus, it is easier for children to adjust to the environment in which they live. In addition, parents must also train their children to mingle and interact with normal people, and develop the potential possessed by the child by including it in certain activities. 

So that their talents can be explored because the level of creativity of children with special needs is very high.

What is our attitude when dealing with people with inclusion?

It is not uncommon that children or inclusion people are often found in public places. We can contribute to them, by disseminating information and education to the surrounding community regarding children with special needs'. 

Then we also need to raise awareness for children with special needs and their families. Then, we can provide a broad space for children with special needs, so that they can be directly involved in social roles. 

Furthermore, we can give support to them, and become a place of complaining for their families. In addition, we can also give them the opportunity to hone their independence and improve their abilities.

So, we as humans must respect inclusion people. They are just like us, they are not strange people. Indeed, they are physically and mentally different like us. But basically, they also have hearts. They are our brothers.
