Problems of Online Lectures

At the moment humans are being appalled by the emergence of outbreaks that attack humans, this epidemic is called the corona virus. Coronavirus is very fast to spread and attack the human body, anyone not knowing the age, both infants, children, adults, pregnant women, the elderly and nursing mothers. Wuhan is the place where the virus first appeared at the end of December 2019, although the origin of this virus cannot yet be explained, its spread is very fast making people panic even though the death rate is relatively minimal, for March 11, 2020, WHO (Organization World Health) establishes COVID-19 as a pandemic.
Problems of Online Lectures

For the sake of mutual safety and to cut off the corona virus spread network, people are encouraged to remain at home, all activities are limited, both community gatherings and work matters, of course, lectures directly face to face are also replaced by online lectures.

In the field of Education this corona virus certainly has a significant impact, many schools, universities and other Educational Institutions are neglected about the teaching and learning process as a result campus and other Education Institutions take policy until the end of this even semester, including midterm, final exam and even final assignment guidance is carried out online. During these online lectures, students and lecturers are asked to conduct teaching and learning activities using applications such as Whats app, video zoom, google classroom, and other skype. Then, so far have lectures online been effective? Is the transformation of science between students and lecturers going well? Are online lectures limited to following trends?

Since this time the echoes of Muslim students' responses to online lectures are very diverse, as many students complain of difficulties in getting signals and inadequate network access, they also feel very burdened because of the high quota prices while the economic situation of the family in difficult times, not to mention if the lecturer demands to apply the video on youtube, it will take a lot of quota.
On the other hand online lectures have not been able to match with face-to-face lectures, it can be said to have not been effective because lecturers only give assignments and very little transformation of knowledge.

These problems should be heard by the campus bureaucracy, because some campuses that implement online lectures do not see the economic and environmental conditions, especially if the campus only applies this policy only because it follows the trend. As a result, students who are constrained by network access, are certainly difficult or even unable to attend lecture classes. not to mention students who live in the middle of a tidal economy, students must reach deep into their pockets to buy an internet quota.

Ideally, the campus should provide policies to ease student burdens such as giving subsidies to students to support online lectures, after all we have paid a deposit for learning in college but when the campus facility pandemic is neglected to compete with students, this should be the right of students, this should be also reduce the activity of students to look for Wifi in a café or warkop.

Therefore, there needs to be more in-depth socialization and study for lecturers in conducting online lecture activities so that they are better prepared and not an obstacle in dealing with situations like this, how good is it so that no party feels burdened. Qonita Salsa Bella
