1. Participation
Participation is important to increase a sense of belonging, an increase in a sense of belonging will increase a sense of responsibility, and an increase in responsibility will increase dedication / contribution. Participation is a process where the stakeholders are actively involved in decision making, policy making, planning, implementing and monitoring / evaluating education in schools.

2. Transparency
School management is carried out transparently, easily accessible to members, management provides continuous reports so that stakeholders can know the process and results of school decision making and policies. Transparent education management allows the growth of trust and confidence of the stakeholders in the spirit and image of a school that is good government and clean government.

3. Accountability
Schools must be accountable for the activities of implementing madrasah which have been called stekeholder by carrying out the best possible management.

4. Professionalism
Achieving independence with a high level of initiative and creativity requires professionalism from all personnel components, including management, educators and other education personnel as well as school committees.

5. Have future insight
in the form of vision, mission, and strategies towards achieving quality education

6. Sharing Authority
In implementation, it is not a one-man show, but is based on the strength of the SOID team.

7.Principle of Equifinality (Principal Of Equefiniality)
This principle is based on modern management theory which assumes that there are several different ways to achieve a goal. MBM emphasizes flexibility so that madrasah must be managed by madrasah members according to their respective conditions.

8. Principal of Decentalization
Decentralization is an important feature of modern madrasah management reform. The principle of decentralization is based on the basic theory that school management and teaching activities cannot be avoided from difficulties and problems.

9. Principal of Self-Managing System
MBM does not deny that schools need to achieve goals based on a predetermined policy, but there are different ways to achieve them.

10. Principal of Human Initiative (Principal Of Human Initiative)
As the human-to-human relations movement developed and the behavioral science movement in modern management, people began to pay serious attention to the important influence of human factors and organizational effectiveness.
